Hurricane Park is an outdoor recreation park with soccer fields, tennis courts, and a running/walking track open to the public. These fields are used by the Tri County Soccer Club and Wren Youth Association.

Tri-County Soccer Club - A soccer club sponsoring numerous teams in the Greenville County Recreational Soccer League.

Wren Youth Association - The Wren Youth Association is the backbone of youth sports in the Powdersville area.

The new library is a big upgrade over the previous one. n addition to the 18 computers with public Internet access, there is free wi-fi access to the Internet. They have 2 tutoring roomas and a small conference room that seats 12 to 15 people.  These are available on a first come - first served basis. There is also a large conference room which can seat up to 75. This room must be reserved in advance.

They offer a Story Time program every Thursday from 10 - 11 AM. This program is geared toward 2 to 5 years of age. When school lets out, in the summer, there is a summer reading program.
